In December of 2022, Berlin the creative duo Re.decay hosted a songwriting and production camp in Johannesburg, SA.
Out of hundreds of applicants, 12 artists and producers were selected. What followed was an unforgettable week of collaboration that resulted in 7 EPs scheduled for release this year on Re.decay’s label RDK Records. The sounds created over the week ranged from R&B to Hip-Hop to Amapiano and everywhere in between as artists and facilitators alike rode a seemingly unstoppable wave of creative energy. 12 artists from all over Johannesburg and a team from Europe all worked, learned from, and shared with each other effortlessly, without ego and for the common goals of uplifting each other and making great music.
